make as a child. For as long as I can remember, I have loved looking at
and making books. I love to write and I especially love to read to children.
But I also love the idea of wordless books. I think young children especially
enjoy them. They can spend a long time on one page searching for visual
clues to the story - without having to worry about reading."
Gianna's first wordless book, Zoopa was
published Fall '05 by Chronicle Books. She has numerous other books in
